About us
The Main Street Inn is located at 320 Main Street in the beautiful village of Sag Harbor, New York. The owners, Anton and Linley Hagen, have been welcoming guests to their charming home since 2013. The Main Street Inn is a classic Captain’s Row House, constructed with white shiplap, wooden ceilings, and other quaint “seaside farmhouse” architectural details. The home is decorated with eclectic art and comfortable furniture. It is situated right on the water in Upper Sag Harbor Cove.
Linley Hagen is a nature lover, fond of growing pretty plants and flowers. When you come to stay, you’ll be able to enjoy her flower garden and lush back deck, which is perfect for sunning, birdwatching, or basking in the breathtaking sunsets. There are kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, bicycles, and a sunfish sailboat on the property, all available for your use at no additional charge! In the morning, enjoy Linley’s healthy continental breakfast of yogurt, granola, fresh fruits, muffins and coffee on the deck, or at the kitchen table with its picturesque view.
Anton Hagen is a boat captain who books charter cruises on his 36-foot wooden lobster yacht called “The Marlinspike.” The boat has a swim ladder, plenty of shade, a complete kitchen and a bathroom. Captain Hagen is a longtime Sag Harbor resident who has been sailing the Hamptons’ waters for over 50 years. He loves to share his local knowledge, bring his guests to lovely pristine beaches and point out celebrity houses from the water. His boat is docked at the Marine Park on Bay Street and for a reasonable fee, he will be happy to take you and your group out for sightseeing, swimming or sunset cruises. Design your own charter or sit back and enjoy one of the Captain’s own tours. Spend an hour or a full day!
In the past 9 years, Anton and Linley have converted their idyllic house into a bed and breakfast. The couple personally attend to all their guests and have perfected the art of being wonderful hosts! Their home is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Anton and Lindley truly enjoy sharing their love of this special part of the world with new friends and returning guests.
BEST ACCOMMODATION AT SAG HARBOR
The Hagens have 3 rooms available, as follows:
1. The Best View Room has, as the name suggests, the very best view of the waterfront. It is located on the second floor of the house with a king-sized bed and shared bath.
2. The Queen Room has a fireplace, a queen-sized bed, a private bath, and is located on the first floor of the house.
3. The Sunset Room gets a nice “twilight hour glow,” has a king-sized bed, a private bath, and is located on the first floor of the house.

The Main Street Inn is located just 4 blocks from downtown Sag Harbor, within short walking distance of great shops and restaurants.
